Meet the characters

  • Patch

    Patch the tortoise carries many things, some in his shell and some in his heart. He’s still learning that it’s okay to put a few of them down and enjoy the view.

  • Remy

    Remy is a shadow who remembers everything, the kind of memory that teaches instead of haunts. He can be hard to look at sometimes, but he always means well.

  • Nimbus

    Nimbus is made of mist and feelings, always a little too worried about what might go wrong. But even on cloudy days, they carry a bit of sunlight inside.

  • Lumi

    Lumi struggles with chronic pain but that doesn't make her worth any less. She needs patience and kindness and is learning that it is okay to rest.
